Formal Education
From 1997-2002 at Fort Lewis College I earned my Bachelor’s of Arts degree, with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy. Many of my electives courses were within Psychology as well. I graduated with Honor’s standing in both major subjects.
From 2004-2005 at Metro State College of Denver I earned my Teacher’s License, with a focus in High School Social Studies. While I held my first teaching job before gaining this, may of the courses helped me to reflect and polish my teaching practices before returning to the classroom. I graduated with Kappa Delta Honor’s.
From 2008-2010 through Norwich University I earned my Master’s of Arts degree in Diplomacy, with a focus on Conflict Resolution. This degree was on-line, with required time at school to present and defend written papers. I found this subject to be very effective in synthesizing all Social Studies content, as well as helping to extend my practices of school leadership.
From 2012-2014 through San Francisco University I earned my Administrator’s License. This on-line program works in partnership with EARCOS, in which each semester the cohort met at EARCOS to further extend all learning. I have a full portofilo showing how I met all International Education Standards with completed work samples from my school at the time, available to review upon request. I graduated with Honor’s.
Professional Development
For my AP Economics teaching position at IBSH, I completed an AP training session for both AP Micro and Macro Economics. I have also completed Literacy Development for AP classes within Social Studies.
For my positions at UAS Dubai, ISKL of Kuala Lumpur and I-Shou of Kaohsiung, I have completed IB training in the following areas:

For my SUPA Economics position at American Academy in Ho Chi Minh, I completed the Adjunct Professor in Economics training program at Syracuse University. This certification allows any of my SUPA Economics classes to count as Syracuse University credit for my students, accepted by the same universities as the AP program.

Within my 15 years of education, these PD’s have ranged widely with topics such as WASC Accreditation, English Language Learners Support, Technology in the Classroom, Understanding by Design, Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP), Research Writing, Links for Learning with Community Businesses and many others.
